MOVE DOS -------- This program allows users to shift a DOS from one disc to another, only the DOS itself is moved all other information present on the disc remains intact e.g. the directory and all data. The program will move any legal DOS, even one it doesn't recognise. If MOVE finds a strange DOS it tells you that it is an unrecognised version of DOS but prepares to move it anyway. If the source disc contains a common DOS, MOVE announces the version on the VDU e.g. "DOS=Xtal V2.02". RUNNING MOVE ------------ Run the program and you will be asked to input the drive number of the source disc, on a single drive machine this would be "0". MOVE then reads and tries to indentify the DOS (see above). If the read operation was o.k. then a message:- O.K.....Write DOS to which drive? 0-3> is displayed. Enter the correct drive number and MOVE tells you to put the destination disc in the alloted drive and press a key. If the write operation was a success then the message:- DOS written to disc O.K. is displayed and the computer returns to DOS. If the source disc contains an auto boot, this will be copied to the destination disc. If a disc read/write error is detected then a message announcing the error is displayed together with the message :- Examine error then press any key..> On pressing a key the program is re- run. ~·(#^#Vz³(Ù#Õë7íBëÑÒ—"ô?ÍÊ =ͧ9ÛͲ Í· Ù*Ü?í[à?~·(/#N#Fx±(§ëq#p#Ùå Ú.ÙÁq#p#ë++¯GN ëå$íráë8ÓÍÖÌë6ÿ#6ÿí[à?Ù*Ü?Ny·(œÙë##^#
